Southwark Cathedral from across the River Thames. An original antique print from William Tombleson's 'Eighty picturesque views on the Thames and Medway, published c.1840. Southwark Cathedral was consecrated in 1905 when the Anglican Diocese of Southwark was formed and St. Saviour's Church was designated as the cathedral. Paper size approx.10.5 x 8.25 inches. A scarce print in excellent condition save for some marks at the bottom of the print.
