Beauchief Abbey is a medieval monastic house now serving as a parish church in the southern suburbs of Sheffield, England. The abbey was founded by Robert FitzRanulf de Alfreton in 1183, as part of the Premonstratensian order. It was dissolved with the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Antique copper-plate engraving dated in the plate 20 Nov 1783. Size of engraved area approximately 5x6 inches. A scarce antique item.
