Venice antique map. Original map of Venice (Venezia) and Lombardy (Lombardia.) Drawn and Engraved by John Dower, F.R.G.S. Lithographed by Day & Son, lithographers to Queen Victoria. Published in the Weekly Dispatch Atlas, 1863. Paper size is approx. 19 x 13.5 inches. Original hand-colouring. Faint fold (rather than a crease) where postman possibly pushed newspaper through letter box! (see scan.) A rare map in very good condition.
