Antique print of Greenwich Hospital, founded as a retreat for veteran sailors. Copper-plate engraving from Strype’s 1720 edition of Stow’s Survey of London. Paper size 16.50×15.25 inches. Mint condition example of an early eighteenth-century copper-plate engraving with sympathetic later added colour. The usual centerfold where folded over 300 years ago! Excellent condition.
