Haverford West (Hwlffordd) castle and bridge Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro) antique print. The castle is recorded as having been founded in 1100 by the Normans, the bridge being built in 1726. The earliest written record of a bridge in Haverfordwest dates from 1378.  Original antique print from Francis Grose's "Antiquities of England and Wales" dated in the plate 1776. Paper size approx. 10x8 inches. Excellent condition.
