Marlborough on the River Kennett in Wiltshire. An original hand-coloured antique map produced by Ordnance Survey for the Boundary Commission. Taken from "the Office of Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State, Home Department. 1837." The Commission two page Report accompanies the map. Paper size approx. 13 x 8 inches (330x205mm). An extremely rare map in excellent condition from Queen Victoria's 'Home Office. Note the series of holes on the right of the map where it was bound into the Report.
