Aldersgate Ward City of London original antique map 1755

Aldersgate Ward and St Martins le Grand, antique map from the 1755 John Strype edition of Stow’s Survey. Includes: Goldsmiths Hall, Scriveners Hall, Cooks Hall, Goswell Street, Aldersgate Street, Barbican, Little Britain. This later hand-coloured map has been trimmed and stuck into a ‘scrap book’ subsequently removed. Nevertheless, in quite nice condition, with no evidence of foxing.
