Brecknock Castle Brecknockshire Powys Wales antique print. Built within 25 years of the Norman Conquest, Brecknock is the oldest castle in Wales. Our image from Francis Grose's "Antiquities of England and Wales" is dated in the plate 1786. Approx. paper size 10x8. The engraved area is in very good condition with some foxing beyond the plate mark.
