Cocklepark Tower is in the hamlet of Cockle Park, Northumberland, England some 4 miles (6 km) to the north of Morpeth. This was a three-storied tower-house which was built in the 15th century as a hunting lodge. It was later extended by the addition of a domestic building. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 1st. January 1785. Paper size approx. 10.75 x 8 inches. Excellent condition. A rare item.
