Dudley Castle is a ruined fortification in the town of Dudley, Staffordshire, West Midlands, England. The castle was erected for William the Conqueror shortly after the Norman invasion. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 9th. April, 1785. Paper size approx.10.75 x 8 inches. . Excellent condition. A rare item.
