Described in the cartouche as “A General Map of England & Wales, Divided into its Counties, Corrected from the Best Surveys and Astronomical Observations, by Thos. Kitchin, Hydrographer to his Majesty. London. Printed for R. Sayer & J. Bennett, Map & Print Sellers, 53 Fleet Street. February 28th. 1786.” Laid on cloth, the map size is approx. 22 x 25 inches (550x645mm) Supplied in original (rather tatty case) see Product Gallery image.
