Forde Abbey antique print of a former Cistercian monastery in Dorset with a postal address in Chard, Somerset (here Ford Abbey in Devonshire!) Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 3rd October 1783. Paper size approx. 11 x 7.5 inches. Excellent condition. A rare item.
