North Foreland Lighthouse, Kent antique print published in 1801 in Thomas Pennant's 'Journey from London to the Isle of White'. The North Foreland Lighthouse stands on top of a chalk headland to warn ships of the treacherous Goodwin Sands seven miles off the coast to the east, and the less infamous Margate Sands to the north. Paper size 12.95" x 9.75" (310 x 240mm). A scarce antique Georgian Print. Note: The shadow on the scanned image does not appear on the original print which is in EXCELLENT condition.
