Greenwich New Theatre antique front of house poster 1866. Original antique 'front of house' poster dated January, 1866. It is promoting the 'Comic Christmas Pantomime entitled ROBINSON CRUSOE." The Proprietor and Manager is Mr Sefton Parry. A resident of Greenwich, he built the theatre there in 1864 and, over the next twenty years, built three more in London and two in the provinces. A bust of her husband by Conrad Dressler was bequeathed to the Garrick Club by Mrs Sefton Parry in 1896. 

Paper size when fully opened 19.75 x 15 inches (500 x 380 mm) Front as illustrated 15 x 10 inches (381 x 254 mm). Several conservation repairs have been executed verso.
