Isle of Dogs antique map published 1902 by John George Bartholomew. Hatched area to the right of Millwall Dock is the 'proposed' extension. Millwall F.C. was forced to move from 'the Island' as a result of a decision to proceed with the extension. However, WWI resulted in the extension being cancelled but not before the football club had moved to New Cross. A nice clean map. Paper size approx. 8.5 x 6.25 inches. Usual centre fold where bound into atlas.
