Malmesbury Abbey. Antique print of Malmebury Abbey at Malmesbury in Wiltshire England, a Benedictine house dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul. It was one of the few English houses with a continual history from the 7th century through to the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 20 August, 1785. Paper size approx. 11 x 7.5 inches. Excellent condition. A rare item.
