Mote's Bulwark was one of the forts built during the reign of Henry VIII to defend the Kent coastline. Original antique print of Mote's Bulwark located at the foot of the cliff below Dover Castle, from Francis Grose's "Antiquities of England and Wales," dated in the plate 1784. Paper size approx. 10 x 8 inches. A scarce print in excellent condition.
