Perry's Dock Blackwall London antique print published in 1801 in Thomas Pennant's 'Journey from London to the Isle of White.' Built in the late 1500's, Mr Perry's Dock was expanded in 1793 with the construction of a mast house for the masting and de-masting of East Indiamen. It later became the yard of Mr George Green with the mast house being a Thames landmark until being dismantled in the 1860s. The dockyard itself remained active until the closure of the docks in the 1980s. Paper size 12.95" x 9.75" (310 x 240mm) A scarce antique Georgian print.
