Spitalfields antique map. Original copper-plate engraved map of ‘Spitalfields’ Here spelt 'Spittle Fields' from the 1755 John Strype edition of Stow’s Survey of London. Paper size 16.5x20.75 inches (420x525mm) Printed area approx. 14.25x11.5 inches (360x292mm) Usual centre fold. Conservation repaired tear beyond the printed area otherwise excellent condition for a 250 year old map!
