St. Katherine's Dock (St. Catherine's) Wapping. An original antique print from William Tombleson's 'Eighty picturesque views on the Thames and Medway, published c.1840. A busy dock scene with cargo (possibly coal) being loaded into a rowing boat and one of the warehouses designed by Scottish engineer Thomas Telford as the backdrop. Paper size approx.10.5 x 8.25 inches. A scarce print in nice condition with none of the foxing being inside the engraving plate
