St. Paul's Church Shadwell exterior antique print published by J. Booth in 1819 in "Architectural Series of London Churches." Drawn by J. Shepherd and engraved by T. Dale. The congregation would have included many seamen, one of whom was Captain James Cook. The text below gives a fairly comprehensive account of its growth until demolition in 1817
