Upnor Castle Kent antique print. Upnor castle is an Elizabethan artillery fort located on the west bank of the River Medway in Kent, a short distance downriver from the Chatham Dockyard, at one time a key naval facility. Original copper-plate engraving by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 20th. November, 1783. Paper size approx. 10.75 x 7 inches. Excellent condition with nice margins.
