Contains extracts from the 1861 Census on aspects of Yorkshire life including: Area, Physical Geography, Parliamentary Divisions, Population of towns, Education, Crime, Births Marriages and Deaths (includes the number of illegitimate births!) Paper size 18.75 x 13.25 (x4). 35 x 24 inches approx. if trimmed and joined together. Nice clean map. Binding holes beyond area where sections need to be joined.
